Evaluation and Grading

Pokhara University has adopted internationally recognized evaluation and grading system. Student’s performance is evaluated in two phases-internally by the concerned subject teacher and the college end externally by the office of the controller of examination through semester and examinations.

Students must pass the internal examination to appear in the final examination. Each student’s performance in a subject is evaluated by the concerned faculty member through attendance, tutorial, lab works and assignments and by the college through unit tests and assessments. The internal evaluation of the students consists of the following criteria:

To be awarded a degree, a student must secure minimum CGPA of 2.0 for bachelor program and 3.0 for master’s program.
